When evaluating the images/crop on a Retina display at 220 ppi, it will be harder to see differences. Think of this as a small print. When evaluating on a lower-ppi display like the 110 ppi NEC PA302W, the rubber meets the road as to what a large print would be like. See also pixel density.

Distortion @ 15mm

Distortion at 15mm is a wave-type distortion, but is remarkably low for a 15mm lens (as good as most primes).
