Backlit Cottonwood @ 20mm

The main thing that I observe with this and other images with the 15-35/2.8L is its outstanding color and contrast, with excellent visual impact. This more than anything sets the table for a pleasing image.

Using relatively close focus because of the leading tree trunk needing top sharpness, the depth of field still gets reasonably far into the scene, for high total sharpness.
