I find that autofocus accuracy with the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L is terrific both in magnified Live View and non-magnified.

Massed Aspen Leaves Floating on Pool

These leaves were all massed and floating—it was a bit tricky in the creek bottom in that it wasn’t always obvious whether the next step would result in a water over the ankle.

When shooting a focus stack, the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM can be trusted to develop depth of field rapidly, and to stack with no issues at all (barring non-lens ones).
