Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 ASPH
A slightly wide “normal” lens, the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 is equivalent to a 40mm in its field of view and f/3.5 in terms of its depth of field (as compared to a 35mm DSLR).
The latest Panasonic specifications (July 2012) for the 20mm f/1.7 list a lens hood as included (Standard Accessory = “Lens Cap, Lens Hood, Lens Rear Cap, Lens Storage Bag”), but the 20/1.7 that I ordered did not have a lens shade in the box and the “what’s included” section of the manual listed only the bag and front and rear lens caps as included. So apparently Panasonic has quietly begun including a lens hood some time in 2012. I returned the lens, and re-ordered, as I want the lens hood.
