Panasonic MACRO-ELMARIT 45mm f/2.8 Overview
A moderate telephoto macro lens, the Lumix G Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm f/2.8 ASPH MEGA O.I.S. is equivalent to a 90mm in its field of view and f/5.6 in terms of its depth of field (as compared to a 35mm DSLR).
The 45/2.8 ASPH is a high performance lens applicable for macro use, but also all-around versatility; it is quite appealing for close-range portraits as well.
Compared to the Olympus Zuiko 45mm f/1.8, it is a full 4/3 of a stop slower (less bright), yet is still substantially larger and heavier owing to its close focus capabilities and image stabilization feature.
