Fujifilm LH-X100 Lens Hood With Adapter Ring

The Fuji LH-X100 Lens Hood With Adapter Ring allows the use of any 49mm filter or polarizer. A filter can be used whether the hood is attached or not.

I found that even a thick B+W polarizer did not vignette at f/16, so Fuji has apparently accounted for this possibility.

The hood + filter combination dispenses with the fiddly lens cap always never to be found once pocketed or dropped, plus the X100 is always ready to shoot without the lens cap blocking things. I have no intention of ever using the lens cap again.
