Aperture Series @ 24mm: Snowstorm Meltwater Pond
The series assesses performance of the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S at 24mm on a deep near-far scene in order to confirm the findings in Summit View at Dusk Over Upper Conness Lake and Snowstorm Meltwater Pond View to Mt Conness Eastern Ridge. By focusing mid-way in, it is possible to rule out certain things that could accountn for the poor outer-zone performance.
This fairly large meltwater pond was dry in the summer, but filled nicely from a snowstorm 3 days prior that had filled all the ponds in this area.
