iPhone 6s Plus: Dealing with Lens Flare

The iPhone 6s Plus can flare badly under many circumstances (minimize the issue by keeping the lens spotless). There are ways to deal with this flare in post processing, as shown here.

Lens flare in a single-shot image is generally less of an issue, but with panoramas, flare can occur in vertical bands of varying density in unnatural places due to the rotation of the camera lens in m making the panorama. This does not look natural or consistent, so reducing the obvious flare issues that are out of place is often worthwhile.
