Camera Profile

The choice of camera profile affects color and contrast, so start with that. With some scenes, the Adobe Standard profile is too harsh. The Camera Portrait profile for the Olympus EM1 offers a pleasing tonal range that I found I preferred for some images, though it is slightly low in contrast, and so sometimes adding just a touch of contrast (+5 or so) is a plus.

The effects vary, and so trying various options can be an effective way to quickly choose a variant that one finds most attractive. After that, adjust white balance and tint to suit.
