Olympus OM-D E-M5

ISO Series from ISO 200 - ISO 25600

This ISO series offers a full range of tones that is free of “pinned” blacks. In reality, one might drop exposure by a stop or more and open up the shadows later, in order to preserve highlight detail (e.g., the window). Hence, the demands on sensor quality (image noise) can be high in such scenarios.

The series from ISO 200 through ISO 25600 is shown.

50% of actual pixels ISO series

Exposure: 1/2 sec at ISO 200 ... 1/250 sec at ISO 25600

Click the image below to see the full series at 50% of actual pixels (4 megapixels, 1/2 linear reduction), which is a reasonable proxy for a print, where some slight blurring occurs due to ink bleed.
