Operational Assessment: Ricoh GR vs Sigma DP Merrill
For very high image quality in a 28mm lens, I see the Ricoh GR and Sigma DP1 Merrill as playing in the same space. This page captures what I see as the key differences.
As readers might have observed, the Sigma DP Merrill cameras are impressive for the per-pixel image sharpness and very good controls. But speed of operation and work required for processing of the image files and battery life are weak points.
