Sigma DP-3 Merrill

Aperture Series DP3 Merrill (Boulder with Forked Stick)

Processed in Sigma Photo Pro 5.5.3 using these settings. In very blue light color correction with yellow and magenta compensation is required for some semblance of neutrality. The white balance in SPP has little effect and is an explicable non-feature; one has to use the Color Adjustment tool.

This subject shows the performance of the Sigma DP3 Merrill using a 3D subject that requires stopping down for full depth of field.

See the notes on the DeChambeau Sidelit Barn series for a general discussion of lens performance and diffraction. Those notes apply equally here.
