Sigma DP-1 Merrill

Matching Color — DP1 Merrill vs Nikon D600 (Yellow Aspen)

The strength of the Foveon sensor in the Sigma DP1 Merrill at capturing fine detail, especially color detail is superb on a per-pixel basis (more pixels please, Sigma). What does it take to make the Sigma DP1 Merrill image look similar to the same scene with the 24-megapixel Nikon D600?

Caveats

The Nikon image was processed using Adobe Camera RAW. The DP1 Merill image was processed using Sigma Photo Pro.
