Sigma DP3 Merrill

Examples (DP3M, White Mountains)

Images from the White Mountains of California.

Please note that the lighting condititions were mostly overcast with dull flat light. The measure of any camera is its ability to deliver images that “work” under light that is not the sweet sunset light one hopes for; this the Sigma DP3M does well. Some images have a little contrast added due to low contrast atmospheric effects.

All sorts of post-processing could be applied to these images which are of exceptional quality: contrast, black and white conversions and so on. But they are presented (more or less) as the Sigma Photo Pro software converted them as per “Sunlight” white balance.

These images are available for viewing in either HD or Ultra-HD sizes, see the links just above each image. For the Sigma DP3 Merrill, the Ultra-HD size is 82% of actual pixels (linear).
