The images processed here used Sigma Photo Pro 3.3 on Mac OS X. The “Standard” mode was used to process the RAW files, with minor adjustments to saturation, exposure and white balance. White balance is a peculiar area with the DP-2, and I used Sunlight most of the time, because Auto and Original often produced ugly results.

All of the images shown here can be improved with post-processing, but I worked on them only a little— only enough to get them closer to what my mind’s eye remembered.

Color space (!!!)

Images presented here were all assessed on my color-calibrated NEC 30" display, a wide-gamut display.

Because many of them would be out of gamut in the sRGB color space, viewing them with a color aware browser is mandatory or they’ll look washed-out (they are presented in AdobeRGB). Opening them in Photoshop is also an option.
