Sigma DP Quattro Introduction
The Sigma dp2 Quattro arrived in July 2014 as the first successor to the Sigma DP1, DP2, DP3 Merrill cameras. It sports the same size sensor a its DP2 Merrill predecessor, but one with an entirely new 4:1:1 design (“Quattro”) which cuts the file size in half, while (according to Sigma) maintaining the same true-color quality. The body is a complete redesign.
The dp2 Quattro is expected to be followed by the dp1 and dp3 Quattro in late 2014 or early 2015.
