The first thing one notices is the extremely loud shutter, because it is a bang-bang affair with some whiny stuff mixed in. It seems wildly out of place in a small camera and stands in stark contrast to the silent in-lens leaf shutter of its Sony RX1/RX1R siblings.
The shutter noise is so loud that there is no question at all about using this camera in any quiet venue: this is impossible in the sense of not annoying people, and perhaps yourself. Here, the RX1R is vastly superior choice for quiet locations.
