With long lenses showing obvious vibration issues on the A7R (none with the A7), there is an incentive to dismiss the vibration as non-existent with shorter focal length lenses. But the laws of inertia and physics do not allow a behavior to disappear, only to be less obvious. And as the Dolls assessment and Red Barn series show, the effects are visible even at 55mm.
