The Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f/1.6 is also a macro lens, focusing to 1:2 (half life size).

This series is at about 1:3, so not at full magnification, but very close to it.

Adobe Camera Raw 9.7.0 (668). Camera Profile=Adobe Standard. Diffraction is probably the last concern of anyone using this lens, diffraction mitigating sharpening was not applied.

Vignetting is hardly there, curious for a 'classic' lens. Possibly the lens throws a large image circle and that explains it.
