Aperture Series: Snowstorm Rolls in Over Saddlebag Lake (A7R)
This series with the Sony 28mm f/2 is an ad-hoc outdoor scene at far distance. It affords an excellent look at sharpness across the field by dint of its near to far subject detail, vignetting behavior, and general visual impact.
This scene is just plain fun, because the snowfall changes with each shutter speed/aperture, the roiled clouds, vignetting changes, etc. So many interesting effects.
Snowstorm Rolls in Over Saddlebag Lake
Taken from about 11,800' elevation, June 4 2015 snowstorm.
Adobe Camera Raw 9.0 (414). ACR settings. Camera Profile = Adobe Standard.
