This comparison pits the autofocus Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM against the Zeiss Loxia 85mm f/2.4 Sonnar. Rather than compare the autofocus Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 Sonnar to the Sony, I opted for the Loxia, because in my experience it outperforms the Batis 85/1.8. I elaborate on this viewpoint further below.
