Custom Function Menu Setup for Sony A1
The Sony A1 menu is in essence an iconized menu mapped to the Fn button, and displayed in the EVF or on the rear LCD when that button is pressed.
By comparison, the My Menu feature is part of the menu system and uses text lines instead of icons. Since a custom button can be programmed to bring up My Menu, the two are quite similar in potential application.
In general, I prefer to use the Fn menu feature for frequently-used settings, and the My Menu for more sporadically used settings.
With the very wide range of features of the Sony A1, customization is highly dependent on the usage patterns. The examples here are for mixed landscape/portrait/wildlife usage as examples.
