20 Frames Per Second Shooting

Key to shooting at high speed is being able to control the focusing point. In that regard the 4-way controller is a huge step up from the unwieldy mechanism in the A7 series: lean on the 4-way button and it heads right where desired—perfect.

Shooting at 20 fps is incredible and qualifies as a movie. Someone speaking or chewing gum can be captured with so many fleeting facial expressions that it might be useful for studying in a science setting (fleeting subconscious expressions and such).

Images already shot scroll at movie speed. No more of the sluggish feel of the A7R II. Zooming is instant. The 4-way controller is also an improvement over the A7 series when scrolling around in magnified images.
