Sony A7R IV
Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM

Examples: Lundy Canyon, Dawn and Dusk

This page shows examples with the Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM, shot at dawn and dusk handheld wit IBIS. The images were shot with an eye to showing how the 50/1.2 GM can pick out exactly the desired subject matter from its surroundings.

Blue lighting was sometimes corrected partially, and sometimes not. Shot handheld with IBIS and mostly using spot autofocus, sometimes in conjunction with magnified Live View for precise focus placement.

Includes images up to full camera resolution.

Brush and Morning Reflections

Startling in its clarity, this is the kind of superb detail (in a thin zone) along with outstanding overall contrast to be expected from the 50/1.2 GM.
