This page offers color shading aperture series for a selection of M-mount lenses: Leica M, Zeiss ZM, Voigtlander.
Shown is the color uniformity across the aperture range for each lens— “color shading”or in a sense, “color vignetting”. The effect is caused by interaction with the sensor cover glass over the digital sensor and it is the ray angle from the exit pupil which is most responsible.
However, wide-aperture lenses (f/1.2, f/1.4, f/2) also have a color shift with stopping down, and this interacts with the color shading issue. The two are almost certainly related, and probably share the same inherent cause— ray angle.
Since M-mount lenses were nearly all designed with film-era bodies in mind (some incorporate a few tweaks for current digital), we can expect that color shading due to ray angle will be an issue, with wider angles exhibiting more of an issue, and faster lenses also having more trouble at the first aperture or two.
