Sony NEX-7

Examples (Capturing the Moment)

Examples on this page were all shot with Leica, Voigtlander or Zeiss ZM lenses, using a Novoflex lens adapter for Sony NEX. I focused using the zoom-in Live View feature, which allowed very precise focus for the non-moving subjects.

The selection of images on this page represent the classic photography of capturing the moment. In this respect, the Sony NEX-7 is superlative and I really enjoyed the experience of shooting with it here on the beach using manual focus and manual exposure and focusing entirely on the scene, not worrying too much about exact focus or “correct” exposures.

For the application of capturing the moment, the Sony NEX 7 succeeds far better than smaller cameras I also like, such as the Fuji X100.
