Sony RX1

Accessories

Sony charges for all the accessories, one feels lucky to receive a camera strap and battery! The Sony RX1 ~$4000 system price is initially off-putting, but in the context of a full-frame sensor and the Zeiss 35/2 lens which need make no apologies in comparison to the finest Leica M 35mm lenses, the value is not only there, but superior in nearly every way in terms of usability and speed and in my field experience, reliability as well.

Accessories are identical for the Sony RX1 and Sony RX1R.

Charger

Like the RX100, the RX1 is not supplied with a charger; the camera must be plugged in via its USB cable to charge, or with the same USB cable plugged into a supplied wall-wart. Hence one cannot use the camera and charge a battery at the same time.
