I took this selfie prior to my first hike of my September 2019 trip. The temperature was a good 10°F, maybe 15°F lower than norma and with some wind, hence I had medium weight tights under wool pants and my November-conditions down jacket and more with me. Crazy—at 2:30PM in the afternoon with a little wind, I needed that jacket while I photographed because without moving steadily, I was getting cold even in the sun.
