Fujifilm GFX100

Making of “Mining Cabin Interior” (Fujifilm GFX100)

This image is classic still-life of a decrepit mining cabin.

Capture: Fujifilm GFX100 color capture
Conversion: converted to color, then B&W using Black and White filter layer
Post: none

Every time I enter this cabin, I can imagine the miners living off canned food and enduring bitter cold and oppressive heat. Here wanted to capture the tight quarters, with the daily tedium offset by an radio tuner, that apparently still works according to notes left by visitors (you provide the battery).
