Zeiss ZF.2 100mm f/2 Makro-Planar T*

ZE 100/2 Makro-Planar aperture series

This aperture series was made using the Zeiss ZE 100/2 Makro-Planar on the 21.1-megapixel Canon 5D Mark II. The lens used here was provided on loan by Zeiss USA in December, 2009. According to Zeiss, this is one of the first production lenses which are to be available for sale in late January, 2010.

Test scene

It was a murky day. I used Live View to focus on the central part of the oak, which was approximately 300 feet (100 meters) distant.
