45MP Panasonic S1R
Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2

Examples @ 187 Megapixels: Lee Vining Canyon at Dusk (Panasonic S1R)

This page looks at resolving power of the Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 using the Panasonic S1R in Multi-Shot High-Res mode, which takes eight exposures, merging them into a single 187 megapixel image.

The Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 has no discernible focus shift, critical for shooting in HighRes mode. It also has very low field curvature. Due to limitations of depth of field at 187 megapixels, f/8 is usually the best choice, thought it visibly degrades micro contrast over f/5.6 at 187MP. Going to f/11 is generally counterproductive.
