Zeiss ZF.2 lenses include a manual aperture ring, making them usable on many different cameras: Nikon natively, but also via adapter: Canon EOS and Leica M Typ 240 and Micro Four Thirds and slew of APS-C mirrorless cameras

Ray angle
The ray angle to the sensor can cause both a color shift and a loss of sharpness when too acute.
This comparison evaluates the ultra wide angle Zeiss ZF.2 15mm f/2.8 Distagon on the Leica M Typ 240. The ZF.2 15/2.8 Distagon is a modern design that is unusual for an ultra wide angle lens in that its ray angle to the sensor is actually more digital friendly than even the 100mm f/2 Makro-Planar. Hence it becomes interesting to evaluate whether it might make a high quality lens on the Leica M Typ 240.
