15/2.8 Chromatic Correction

The Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 is highly corrected for color aberrations, with secondary color (LOCA and SLOCA) hardly to be seen—effectively absent.

Color fringing (lateral chromatic aberration) is held to a very low level, and what little there is can be easily corrected during raw conversion. Context is useful: even compared to to slower and more expensive rangefinder lens such as the Leica 18mm f/3.8 Super-Elmar-M ASPH, the Zeiss 15/2.8 Distagon outperforms in color correction, and yet is nearly a stop faster.
