Eastern Sierra Aspen and sagebrush

I knew depth of of field would be a compromise here, and lighting was literally changing by the second. I wanted very high foreground sharpness but also deep depth of field, so I went with f/14, which drops some of the brilliance (from diffraction), and I focused relatively closely. The results is very high sharpness at close and medium range, but the distant mountains are not entirely sharp towards the edges— field curvature— such is one of the compromises in the design.
