Focus Shift

Early in the testing phase back in 2007 when your author was still learning about focus shift, six carefully-shot field tests against Canon 85mm lenses showed a mismatched zone of focus made A/B comparisons invalid even at f/8. Yet the 85 Planar produced beautiful and crisp results when shot by itself.
