Examples: Backyard (Leica SL2, APS-C)
These examples at f/2 were all shot handheld with IBIS on the Leica SL2, inadvertently using APS-C crop mode.
Image color and tint to taste without yet having assessed neutrality using a color checker card; the Leica SL2 adds about +20 points magenta under such conditions and has wildly inaccurate white balance with some subjects of strong color.
UPDATE: it turns out that in APS-C crop mode, the Leica SL2 records the entire sensor capture. I didn’t realize this until I had processed all of these images. In Adobe Camera Raw, enter crop mode and delete the crop and voilà you have the entire frame.
