Enjoy the brilliance of the Zeiss 25mm f/2 Distagon on the 36-megapixel Nikon D800E.
It is particularly attractive wide open for its combination of high sharpness and contrast over the central 2/3 of the frame combined with its vignetting.
High key
Images here were processed for a high-key effect which I prefer. The white rock in places was let go to pure white or nearly so; this was a creative decision reflecting the very bright conditions that require sunglasses for comfort at this high altitude.
A well-calibrated display might be necessary to appreciate the high-key effect without losing the subtle bright tones.
