Overview of Zeiss Milvus
The Zeiss Milvus line consists of 11 lenses for Canon and Nikon DSLRs as of 2017:
- 15mm f/2.8 — same optical formula but improved flare resistance
- 18mm f/2.8 — outstanding performer, and 2/3 stop faster than its predecessor
- 21mm f/2.8 — much improved flare resistance, same optical formula
- 25mm f/1.4 — all new design that sets new performance standards.
- 35mm f/1.4 — lovely bokeh wide open, world-class performance stopped down
- 35mm f/2 —same optical formula, no optical change from ZF.2/ZE model
- 50mm f/1.4 — all-new optical design
- 50mm f/2M — macro, same optical formula but improved flare resistance
