I realized that I had never captured this aspect specifically, and I think it offers value in setting expectations for Leica M gear.
No brand or vendor is perfect, so it’s really a matter of quality service, and there my own experience has been that Leica does a first-rate job with the caveat of time delay—the turnound to Solms can take longer than one might like (my view is that Leica ought to aggressively expand and enhance its capabilities here in the USA).
