Following the Green Barn RAW vs JPEG shootout, I wanted to confirm the findings with another entirely different subject, this time with fabric and human features.

The full-resolution in-camera JPEG is included and compared against the raw-derived image, as well as two large crops. Commentary covers the overall look and feel, a note on camera color rendition, sharpness of course, plus one interesting finding on downsampling.
