This 3-way shootout compares the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art to the Nikon 85mm f/1.4G and Zeiss Milvus 85mm f/1.4 on a scene with exceptional levels of fine detail all at “infinity”, that is, at least a kilometer away for everything.
This series complements, extends and confirms the Beaver Pond series. By using a scene in which there can be no question of near/far issues from depth of field, lens performance is laid bare without regard to DoF concerns.
