The diagram shown below suggests that there is a lot of exploring to be done with the Nikon D850.

For example “Face Detection on image plane” sounds interesting as well as “Live View metering”.

The “Live View metering” callout makes me wonder if there is something useful going on with respect to optimal ETTR exposure.

Worth noting is that some of the callouts have to do with JPEG (white balance, skin tones), which have no value to me when working with raw files in Adobe Camera Raw.
