I’ll be testing the iMac Pro in detail with a variety of applications starting Jan 3 at the OWC facility in Woodstock, IL. Anyone considering the iMac Pro vs 2017 iMac 5K might want to hold off just a bit—it’s not clear that the iMac Pro is better for real world tasks, and if it is better, whether it is incremental or substantial (I expect incremental).
