Caution on Using Adobe Camera Raw Enhance Details for Frame Averaging: Grid / Checkerboarding Pattern Permeates the Image

I’ve been a fan of Adobe Camera Raw Enhance Details, but I now have to largely abandon it or at least evaluate every image after applying it, and then decide if it has caused issues.

Aside from ugly pattern noise as discussed in Adobe Camera Raw Enhance Details Produces Striping Pattern Noise on Nikon D850, Other Cameras and other posts, Enhance Details also is unusable woth frame averaging because the more the noise is reduced, the more visible the grid pattern becomes over the entire image, as below.s

This grid pattern does NOT appear when I do not use Enhance Details.
