This aperture series from f/1.2 through f/8 evaluates the Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM at far distance to see just how sharp it is and what aperture is required for full edge-to-edge sharpness.
Good as it is in so many ways, my enthusiasm for the 50/1.2 GM is tempered by the results here, which show obvious variation in sharpness across the field.
