Apple 2022 MacBook Pro M2 Max: Blows Away Intel Macs on Almost Everything; High-End Workstation Masquerading as Laptop

While the 28 CPU cores of my 2019 Mac Pro win out for a few tasks, in general the Apple 2022 MacBook Pro M2 Max is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a high-end desktop workstation masquerading as a laptop computer. Do I want one? Heck yeah. If only one did not have to run Apple’s worst OS ever, the feckless usability dumpster fire that is macOS Ventura... but dang the hardware is impressive.
Whether focus stacking or image scaling (incredible!) or raw file conversion or Adobe Lightroom or general photoshop work, the thing is a speed demon you can use on the road or at work/home as a high-end workstation. Incredible.
