Nikon NIKKOR Z 17-28mm f/2.8 Aperture Series @ 17mm: Destroyed Beaver Pond, Lodge View, Down Canyon (Z8)

The pile of branches/sticks above right from center is a beaver lodge that has been empty for a while. This pond formerly had a water level that would have allowed the beaver to swim into its lodge. The dam was in disrepair, but the water level was still fairly good until the winter avalanches sheared off most of the trees and obliterated 80% of the dam.
