Teva Sandals Quality
Teva really ought to work on their product quality.
Ten steps through the creek and these came apart. Took me a few minutes to realize the garbage floating in the creek was not from the folks upstream.
They sure were nice and light this way though. Although I did fall hard when I slipped on some polished granite and fortunately was only bruised.
OK, to be fair to Teva, I did buy these back in 1994 or so. Or was it 1987?

I bet your Tevas are from pre-1994. Mine are from about 1992-94 but have a broader strap system. They take a lick and keep on ticking. I’ve replaced the velcro a couple of times now and reglued the soles maybe three years ago. I am surprised your two piece soles took so long to delaminate. Clean the rubber thoroughly (no sand, grease, or dirt) and let them dry for a few days. Then a layer of Barge cement on each face, dry for 10-15 minutes, reassemble with pressure and you’ll be good for another 20 years. A quality item back in the day.
