Camera Lens Warranties: Outstanding vs Bare Minimum
In an era of crapification of just about everything, at least camera companies produce increasingly better products (mostly). A big win for us all.
Then there is the warranty: nil value vs real value.
But who can blame companies that offer the minimum when buyers accept it? Apple has polished that approachmasterfully, charging a stiff premium for coverage beyond one year (AppleCare), having set buyer expectations. Camera companies have mostly followed suit.
