June 2011 Photo Tour to Yosemite and White Mountains

I’m starting to get inquiries on a spring photo tour to Yosemite and/or the White Mountains. 2011 should be an awesome year for magnificent water flows in the high country canyons. I avoid the valley for overcrowding reasons— Yosemite valley is beautiful, but it’s definitely not a wilderness-feel experience— more like a buses, people and pizza orgy.

Because of the very heavy snowfall this year, it’s unclear when the passes will open, particularly Hwy 120, which is key to high country access, and so I cannot commit to a firm date as yet, but I anticipate a 2nd or 3rd week of June date. Contact me if interested in that time of year.

Images of the flow last year below.
